Whole Foods Market | Frisco
At 9,097 feet in elevation, the Frisco store is the highest Whole Foods Market in the world. As gateway to the Breckenridge skiing area, Frisco is best known for its winter sports, but has a plethora of year-round outdoor recreation opportunities including mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, and even sailing on its lake. We took inspiration from these outdoor pursuits to design pieces incorporating materials like nylon strapping, thin steel framing, and rustic reclaimed wood planks. Graphically, we were inspired to combine classic parks system iconography with bright colors, keeping it bold, simple, and fresh. The resulting store feels vibrant, cozy, and very Colorado.
