This is a bit overdue, but on Wednesday, April 22, I “attended” several sessions of BrightTALK Green Building summit. For it being just one part of their Green Week programming, it was a rather intensive learning day that started bright and early. Kevin presented his “The Environmental Impact of Buildings: An Inconvenient Truth” webinar in the early afternoon. The episode received very good feedback, and in response to requests he sent off a copy of his slideshow to almost two dozen people the next day. A couple of other fascinating webinars that day that I totally recommend watching are: The Carborexic City, presented by Mitchell Joachim, a professor at Columbia; The Myth of Sisyphus: A Roadmap to Greening Our Buildings, presented by Eric Corey Freed, a Principal at organicARCHITECT; and Nanotechnology for Green Building, presented by George Elvin, Ph.D., LEED AP, the Director of Green Technology Forum and an Associate Professor of Architecture at Ball State University. All of these webinars are archived at the BrightTALK website. Joining BrightTALK is absolutely free, and once you’ve created an account you can not only watch those archived webinars, but also attend other free ones. Check them out; it’s well worth it.

Thanks for the post, we’re glad you enjoyed the summit and really enjoyed having Kevin involved.
