BrightTALK Green Building Summit

Last year we were introduced to BrightTALK http://www.brighttalk.com/, a service that offers live, interactive webinars on a variety of topics, and it’s all free. Aside from multiple channels, they also organize virtual Summits that focus on a specific industry or market. Next week, on Thursday, January 28, 2010, from 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., BrightTALK will host this year’s Green Building Summit, which includes 7 webinars. I have signed up to attend all 7 webcasts, and, provided I do not oversleep that morning, will be doing write-ups about what I hear and learn at each of them.
The session line-up is:
7:00 a.m. – Responding to Climate Change Imperative: Reducing Energy & Costs
8:00 a.m. – Nanotechnology: Meeting the Green Building Challenge
9:00 a.m. – Do green buildings make dollars and sense?
10:00 a.m. – Green Building Legal Issues on the Horizon
11:00 a.m. – Sustainable Materials: How to Develop Your Own Library (this will actually be presented by Kevin!)
12:00 p.m. – LEED 2009: Advanced project and professional performance
1:00 p.m. – Greening the Built Environment in San Francisco
Check out the Green Building Summit http://www.brighttalk.com/summit/greenbuilding2 details to read a brief description of each topic and see who will present them.
