Aleida doesn’t like to write about herself. However, she loves to read about, research, and explore the ever-growing sustainable design industry. She gathers intelligence on all subjects that we address.

Under her guidance, our sustainable materials library has grown to include stunning materials with unique origin stories, accompanied by detailed information straight from the manufacturer. Her relationships with artists and designers often earn her sneak peeks at products still in development or yet to be acquired. She has spearheaded material research projects for Whole Foods Market, New Leaf Markets, and Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market.

Aleida is a regular contributor to our blog, and a co-author on several published articles.

Her artistic pursuits focus on translation. A native of Guatemala, she deploys her English-Spanish fluency in the theatre world of Los Angeles, where she translates websites, programs, and full-length plays to facilitate theatre-audience communication.
